Virtual Prep Academy of Missouri offers families a no-cost online ninth-grade option that blends strong academics with individual support. How Does Online Ninth Grade Work?
Online learning doesn’t have to be complicated; in fact, online learning works in a surprisingly simple format. Our ninth graders follow a daily routine that includes live, teacher-led classes and independent study time. This format helps students build time management, personal responsibility, and organizational skills, all key tools for high school and beyond.
Support is built into everything we do. Each student has access to a dedicated Student Success Coordinator for regular check-ins. At home, parents or guardians serve as Learning Coaches, helping students stay on track. We’ll walk you through that role during onboarding and provide support all along the way.

Online Ninth Grade Curriculum
